After a busy day enjoying all our great outdoor activities, or sightseeing, shopping, gallery viewing, or antiquing, come back to your room and relax before coming down to the dining room of our incredible Vermont restaurant for a romantic, candle-lit dinner, replete with live piano music nightly, a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence wine list (pdf), and a fully stocked bar.
In summer you can dine outside on the deck or gazebo, surrounded by orchids from the greenhouse as well as many other plants and Vermont’s comfortable evening breeze. In winter, enjoy dining in the cozy pub in front of a roaring fireplace.
Chef Michael Kennedy will delight you with his regional American creations, using the finest fresh ingredients, always prepared in house, including all desserts. As a member of the Vermont Fresh Network, we utilize the productions of our local farms in our cuisine.
Chef Michael trained at the University of New Hampshire, spent several years working as our Sous Chef and Executive Chef before moving on to become an instructor at The New England Culinary Institute. After three years in this position, he returned as our Executive Chef in 2010.
