Christmas in Weston Day : Vermont Holiday Festivals

Vermont Hoiday Sleigh Ride

Weston, Vermont will be celebrating it’s annual village wide “Christmas in Weston Day” on December 7, 2014. There are holiday activities throughout the entire town including horse drawn sleigh rides, chestnuts roasting on an open fire, caroling, concerts at the church and Weston Playhouse, great shopping opportunities at the Vermont Country Store, the Weston Village Store, the Weston Christmas Shop, and the Village Green Gallery, and a tree lighting ceremony at dusk on the Village Green.

Christmas in Weston

After the tree lighting ceremony, make your way down to The Inn at Weston for one of our favorite events of the year, the annual Christmas Piano Concert Dinner. Featuring recorded artist Robert Congdon of Boston, the concert is replete with Christmas Carols as well as classical and broadway seasonal selections.

Christmas concert Weston

Dinner is at 6 PM, and is followed by the Piano Concert at around 8 PM. During intermission, we will serve dessert, coffee or tea, as well as drinks, and then Bob will return to the piano. The evening concludes with a sing along which always gets the season off to a great start.
